postcard paintings
inspired by the year during the pandemic where my friends and I hiked nearly every blue trail in Connecticut. this series of postcard paintings felt like a natural way to capture those memories and the views.
case mountain | 7.5” x 5” | watercolor on paper
the case mountain hike was ten miles long and on one of the hottest days in late summer - we ran out of water. but the view was beautiful and worth every exhausted step.

bluff point | 7.5” x 5” | watercolor on paper
at bluff point, we spent time walking in the sand, meeting up with the waters edge to stop and soak in the sun. watching as the elite took off to places unknown in their private planes.

“keep close to Nature’s heart... and break clear away, once in awhile, and climb a mountain or spend a week in the woods. wash your spirit clean.”
